Amendment to US12/13-13, "UO Representation on the Interinstitutional Faculty Senate (IFS)"

The Senate moves that the three University of Oregon IFS Senators will be as follows:

• Senate Position 1: The President of the University of Oregon Senate;

• Senate Position 2: The President-Elect (Vice President) of the University of Oregon Senate;

• Senate Position 3: A Senator who is a member of the Statutory Faculty A member of the Statutory Faculty who will serve for the duration of his or her Senate term for a term of two years.

Senate Position 3 will be elected at the first Senate meeting of the academic year no later than June 1, 2015. Future elections for this position will be held during the Senate meeting when the election for the President-Elect (Vice President) of the UO Senate is held.  If/when this position is vacated during an academic year, a Statutory Faculty Senator will be appointed by the Senate President to serve for the remainder of the year. (By February 1, 2013, the Senate President will appoint a Statutory Faculty Senator to fill this position until the October 2013 Senate meeting, when a Statutory Faculty Senator will be elected by the Senate to fill the position.)
